Waikiki L. Upshaw is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia, with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Journalism. She joined the Army Reserves in 1990. While as a U.S. Army Reservist, she obtained her Masters in Guidance and Counseling from the State University of West Georgia. She earned a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Phoenix in 2008. Dr. Upshaw has over 20 years of experience working with children in the school setting. She has also worked with adolescents, adults and families through in-home counseling services. Dr. Upshaw’s experience also includes working with adults and couples in a community outpatient clinic providing individual and group therapy. Dr. Upshaw has a passion for helping others discover their strengths and work through difficult life situations.

Michelle Terry, LPC
Michelle Terry has over 20 years of experience with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Ms. Terry also has experience with individuals on moderate to mild Autism Spectrum Disorder and particularly enjoy working with groups. She uses a variety of therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Social Thinking, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Moral Recognition Therapy (MRT) and Expressive Arts.
Michelle Terry employs The Circles Curriculum to teach social/emotional boundaries to children and adolescents. Michelle also has experience with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Depression and Self-Harmful behaviors.

Angie Romero, LAPC
Angie Romero is a licensed associate professional counselor in the state of Georgia. She received her Master's in Clinical Mental Health from Troy University. She pulls from several different psychological theories including psychodynamic, humanistic, person-centered, and solution-focused while assisting clients in discovering their strengths while working through issues that affect their daily living and/or overall quality of life. As a military spouse, her passion is working with military families, helping them adjust to military life and overcoming the unique challenges that comes with the lifestyle. She also specializes in trauma recovery, early relational trauma, adult children of narcissistic parents, and self-esteem matters. In addition to her license, she holds several certifications. Jennifer Timberlake, Master Level Intern
Jennifer Timberlake is working to obtain her master of arts in Counseling from Northwestern University. After obtaining her masters, Mrs. Timberlake plans to utilize psychodynamic therapy, paying attention to one's history and how it impacts one's present. Mrs. Timberlake has 10 years of experience working with children in a school setting, which she hopes to utilize as she strives to work with adolescents and emerging adults. She also has experience in grief peer support groups and hopes to utilize that experience in assisting those who are experiencing grief for a wide array of causes.

She is currently licensed to practice Psychology in Massachusetts and Georgia and is credentialed as a Health Service Provider by the National Register in Psychology. Dr. Whitlow holds certifications in Trauma Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Dr. Whitlow has worked extensively with First Responders (Fire, Police and EMT personnel) and has been affectionately dubbed “Doc V.” by her patients and colleagues. Dr. Whitlow has an extensive 25 year background in teaching and clinical practice, and her research publications are in the areas of Substance Abuse and its’ impact on children and families. Dr. Whitlow is single and runs a thriving Clinical practice in Alpharetta, Georgia treating children, couples and families.
